We've Been Shortlisted!

It's a privilege to let you know that we've been shortlisted in the "Social Inclusion" category for the Keele University "Breaking the Mould" Awards.

We believe mums and mums-to-be face significant health disadvantage, due to social stigma and cultural norms which discourage women from being active during pregnancy. We also believe that "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world" therefore, if we do not educate professionals and support and empower women to make healthy choices, we disable a significant proportion of our population, which in turn impacts the overall health of the nation.

Whether we win or not, it's a pleasure to be amongst the shortlisted organisations, and we thank Keele University for deeming us worthy of inclusion.

PLEASE NOTE - Where referring to 'women' and 'mothers', this should be taken to include people who do not identify as female but who are pregnant.

Similarly, where the term 'parents' is used, this should be taken to include anyone who has main responsibility for caring for a baby.
