We've worked with Dr Claire Spearing to produce two short
videographics based on the United Kingdom's Chief Medical Officers'
guidelines, designed specifically for pregnant and postnatal women.

Sport England are working towards an active nation where everyone feels able to do sport and physical activity, no matter their age, background or gender.
Active Lives Survey
Access the data drawn together from Sport England's Active Lives surveys, which measures the activity levels of people across England. You can analyse the data and run specific queries based on adults maternity status (whether pregnancy or with a child under the age of 1).
This Mum Moves is an initiative developed by ukactive in collaboration with a range of expert partners passionate about empowering pregnant and postnatal women to lead healthy and active lives.​

The #ReadyforPregnancy and #ReadyforParenthood campaigns is a unique collaboration of local maternity systems from across the South East region.
They work with the shared objective to raise awareness of how women’s health when they get pregnant affects them and their baby not only throughout their pregnancy, but also at birth.

The BASES Expert Statement on Pregnant and Postnatal Athletes,
produced on behalf of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences by Dr Marlize De Vivo, Dr Lou Atkinson, Gráinne Donnelly, Prof Kirsty Elliot-Sale, Chloe Hillyar, Sarah Rand, Dr Claire-Marie Roberts and The Active Pregnancy Foundation.
The Statement highlights current guidelines, areas where further evidence and consensus is needed, and the multi-disciplinary approach necessary to effectively support athletes with their health, training, and performance goals during and after pregnancy.
UK Sport has developed pregnancy guidance to ensure support is provided for athletes who wish to have a child whilst a member of a high-performance funded programme.
