Welcome to The Active Pregnancy Foundation website. By browsing this website, you accept and agree to comply with, and be legally bound by, the following Terms and Conditions of use, which together with our Privacy Policy govern The Active Pregnancy Foundation’s relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, or the Privacy Policy, please do not use our website.
What do these Terms & Conditions cover?
These Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) tell you the rules for using our website www.activepregnancyfoundation.org (Site) along with the T&Cs on which we supply digital based content (Services). The terms contain provisions dealing with access to, and use of, our site. These include information about the website owner, rights to modify or withdraw the website, disclaimers for material published on it or linked to or from it, rules about how such materials may be used, and about unacceptable user behaviour.
These T&Cs also tell you who we are as an organisation, how we will provide Services to you, what to do if there is a problem, and other important information.

The term 'The Active Pregnancy Foundation' or ‘us’ or ‘we’ or 'The APF', refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Community Stadium, Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, Workshop Road, Sheffield, S9 3TL. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Changes
We amend these T&Cs from time to time. Every time you wish to use our site, please check these T&Cs to ensure you understand the version extant at that time.
We may update and change our site from time to time to reflect changes to our services, our users' needs, and our business priorities.
We may suspend or withdraw our site. We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.
You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site through your internet connection are aware of these terms of use and other applicable T&Cs, and that they comply with them.

Limitations of Liability
We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
By engaging in physical activities, you agree that you voluntarily participate with full knowledge that there is an inherent risk of personal injury or illness arising from such engagement.

Generally, women do not need permission to move or engage in low to moderate intensity physical activities, however, you need to understand that:

(1) the guidance for being active during pregnancy applies to uncomplicated pregnancies: and (2) the guidance for being active following childbirth advocates a gradual return to moderate intensity activities and that higher intensity activities should only proceed in the absence of any signs or symptoms of abdominal wall and/or pelvic floor dysfunction.
You are responsible for your own health and wellbeing and it is up to you to ensure that you are well enough to participate in physical activities. We are not in a position to express an opinion that you are able to participate safely in any activity. You must obtain professional or specialist advice from your medical team (e.g. midwife, GP, physiotherapist) if you have any concerns on this matter.

Furthermore, you should not use this website (or any external site which we list or link to) as a means of diagnosis. The Active Pregnancy Foundation is not responsible or liable for any diagnosis which you might derive based on the content of this website, nor are we liable for the contents of any external Internet sites listed.

Third Party Rights
This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its T&Cs.
Severance of Terms
Each of the paragraphs of these T&Cs operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

Enforcement
If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these T&Cs, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
Variation
We may revise these T&Cs from time-to-time. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.
Entire Agreement
These T&Cs, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our website, and supersede all previous agreements in respect of your use of this website.
